"...Where has the President been for 54, 55 days? I know he made 3 visits there but he has spent more time on vacation than he has in New Orleans and Lousianna.
I wrote a book on leadership, and I would say that if I wrote another one I would use this as an illustration of the opposite of leadership. This thing happens over 50 days ago. The President goes on vacaction twice.
President says BP is in charge. Then BP isnt in charge. Then he is in charge. Then he is not in charge. America are entitled to better than this...
We cant put emergencies and crisis on hold to fit the schedule of President Obama. If you want to run a crisis you got to be in charge it. You got to roll up your sleeves and be in charge of it. You got to make the decisions. You got to take the responsibility from the beginning. You cant say BP is in charge and then 50 days later say I was really in charge from the very beginning but didnt tell anybody...
This is not the first time [this admistration] has shown a total lack of leadership at a time of crisis. The same thing happened on Christmas day. President Obama gets a pass from the media that most American Presidents dont get and that can be dangerous... The oil spill off the gulf or in the gulf has been a disaster in terms of the way it has been handled as a crisis."

I have always liked Rudy Giuliani. He would have made a much better candidate, than McCain.
Discovery channel has a special on the spill now. It started at 8PM ET and ends at 9PM. Pretty informative for folks like me that are not in the business.

This thing is difficult for “the one”. He wants to position himself to take credit for the good news, and assign blame for the negative consequences, standard MO for “community organizers”. Unfortunately, reality is intruding.
He’s pro-queer, pro-gun control, he turned New York into a damned police state and he’s a cross dresser.
He woulda lost Georgia to Obama because he would have depressed white turnout all across the South. Take that for what you will.
