Fine—let her try again when she’s an adult. This is a dangerous enough endeavor for experienced adults. Minors have no business doing this. The risk is just not worth the price of fame in this case.

Glad she was found, but I cannot fathom WHY somebody would try such a hairbrained scheme.

Praise God that she’s alive! But you’re right. She’ll try again. The stupid just keeps on coming.

I don’t care if one is 40, there is no point to this exercise. We already know that people can sail around the world alone. Why spend millions of dollars and imperil others who have to come rescue you? It proves nothing. She can get her self-esteem from other activities that could be more directly beneficial.
