"The main objective is to provide our citizens with an ID card here, whatever they need it for," said Ricardo Alday, spokesman for the Mexican Embassy in Washington. "It's better for everyone to know who they are and where they live."

Isn't Mexicorruption meddling?

I'll defer to the experts but I thought Mexico signed this and it meant something.

VIENNA CONVENTION ON CONSULAR RELATIONS AND OPTIONAL PROTOCOLS . . .

Article 55

RESPECT FOR THE LAWS AND REGULATIONS OF THE RECEIVING STATE

1. Without prejudice to their privileges and immunities, it is the duty of

all persons enjoying such privileges and immunities to respect the laws and regulations of the receiving State. They also have a duty not to interfere in the internal affairs of that State. . . . .

[End excerpt. My emphasis]

Maybe Mexicorruption withdrew from Article 55 in order to govern and look after their citizens (at U.S. taxpayers' expense) residing in the U.S.?

I know he is a Socialist, but do you think he is really against the citizenry of the US...?

Yes, he is, and should be viewed as such a tyrant.
