I totally agree, but from the posted clip it seems that they write a fair piece about Haley which, for the NYTimes, is a feat. But you are correct, with liberals it's ALWAYS about race — always. They are quick to ascribe racism to Republicans (the angry white male stereotype) but in fact it is liberals who are the most race conscience people ever. But you got to hand it to the Times, Haley is most certainly a rising star.

Few things in politics are less important than a candidate's sex, skin color, or eye color for that matter. I am completely indifferent to those peripheral details when voting. To the Dems, that makes me a racist.
