I agree with you.
My grandfather, at 9, was sent up to the mountains of Italy with a herd of sheep. He’d be there for days and have to hide from wolves. At 16 he travelled to America - alone. Our country was built by adventurous risk takers.
Abby tried and failed. I think Geraldo is jealous because he sailed around the world with a full crew. Abby and her brother made him look bad.
Whoraldo just looks bad, period.

Thanks Carmody, I just can’t believe how fast this nation is sinking. You are so right about Geraldo - he had to concede the brother made it but then let it slip she failed because she was a girl.
Her making it would diminish his “manly feat” - therefore it’s child abuse.
