Did you also know that when the mast broke that it hit her on the head, and she has NO idea how long she was unconscious?
I've been informed by freepers that she could have had a concussion ANYWHERE, and what's the big deal about letting an immature insulated 16 year old child navigate the Indian Ocean in the stormiest winter conditions -- so that her dad can sign a contract with a reality show.
I want to know what cable channel that reality show is on, and who the advertisers are.

No. Did not know the mast hit her on the head and knocked her unconscious. Thanks for informing me. Obviously she could have easily been killed on this reckless and irresponsible voyage. I wouldn’t even advise an adult to take this type of trip all by himself. But the fact that it was underage minor makes this borderline parental negligence at best, attention seeking publicity at worst.
I suggest a firing squad.

I am not a sailboat person but we have had several fishing yachts and fished off shore in some VERY rough water. I don't see how, with the boat in 30 ft? waves, how she could be unconscious and not be thrown over board. Even if she had a line tied to herself, which I understand sailboat people do, just imagine what would happen to an unconscious body on the deck of that sailboat.
