Most homeschoolers are beyond highschool at 16 years old. Many are in college with dual enrollment; some as full-time college students.

As a matter of fact, both my mother and my sister were in college at age 15. Both were public schooled, both rose to the top of their fields.

I’d suggest to my fellow FReepers that if you have not had experience with people with that level of ability while still mid teens, it is understandable that you would consider them “children”.

However, you would consider wrongly.

But, until you have dealt with such people, it is difficult to accept their capabilities. They certainly don’t look different, they just have different capabilities from the norm.
