The network morning and evening news shows have all but ignored President Obama's Saturday letter to congressional leaders asking for $50 billion in additional spending to prevent the "massive layoffs of teachers, police, and firefighters." Only Sunday's Good Morning America on ABC has covered the President's request so far.

The chief executive's June 12 letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and House Minority Leader John Boehner urged "swift action" on the multi-billion dollar proposal to prevent the public sector layoffs and "give our nation's businesses added impetus to hire and grow."

$50 billion is chump change. They also ignored the EO he signed last week about creating a new government agency that would implement mandating healthy lifestyles for us all. They have been told what they are permitted to report and what they cannot report. Just like the good fascists they are.

Hey,...the “B-word” no longer raises eyebrows. Sestak is forgotten. The One will appear on the television tonight. Praise unto Him.

The only “swift action” from Congress I’m interested in is an Impeachment Vote.

I guess the networks don’t want to analyze and comment on why dems would want to fund local union public service employees going into an off year election. Geez, you think the media is in on the plan? Is there any union job these creeps won’t save at our expense?

Well yeah, the media is not eager to let the American people know about his latest union bailout plan.

We need to make sure to kill this. The very best thing that could happen is having the local and state governments fire 300,000 public employees. This would significantly dent union rolls and help the states start getting their fiscal house in order.

What BULLSHIT...all they are trying to do is buy the Fall elections. The "Chump in Chief" isn't fooling anyone but himself.
