Well actually planes built in England do just that. From the cockpit view American planes the prop turns clockwise, the English plane props turn CCW .....
Well that is interesting. I’ll have to watch for that.
When you think about it most engines could probably run
backwards if you had a way to reverse the firing sequence.
You might also have to revise the oil and fuel pumps too.
