I was at McDill once. I tried to break out. Anybody wanting in has a nefarious plan or is very, very bored.

When I was a kid Me and a buddy use to ride our bikes to MacDill and go to the bowling alley. Dependent IDs.

They might get one. The local Gannett station says they were told the vehicle contained "military-style clothing" and guns and ammo.

The driver then reversed his vehicle, hitting another car behind it, before proceeding unauthorized through the gate. Gate security barriers were activated successfully, stopping the vehicle.

Nice to know the gate security barriers worked...

The A-10s that did the flyover of MIS before yesterday’s race flew over here yesterday. Among my favorite jets.

strange.. my wife and I discussed this just the other day. I traveled to Tampa recently and was able to get on base pretty easily in a vehicle w/o a DOD sticker, with no search of the rental car.
The security seemed pretty lax considering what they have on that facility. I’m not surprised this happened there.

Aw MAN!!; you read my mind - first suspicion to pop into my mind!

Any time you see bearded guys with a Michigan accent wearing broad brimmed straw hats, white shirts and black suspenders you’d better watch out! (Not that I’d condone “profiling” of course...)

They’ve been known to load those horse drawn buggies right up with scrapple and wreak environmental havoc with it all over the place!
