But Sarah did tell him to go ahead and do it, regardless. No one’s taking away credit from Jindal. But she gave him very public support and encouragement to do this. And she does know what she’s talking about when it comes to this subject. They’re not running against each other.

Well, Jindal has waited a heck of a long time to take her advice. What’s Sarah supposed to do? Take over LA and do it herself? I’m sure she’d have loved to, but...Jindal has finally gotten around to doing this.

Given that a lot of the state's resources were already deployed in dealing with areas under state jurisdiction, I am not so sure how practical that advice was. It is not like they had a lot of unused resources setting around that were not being used. I suspect that, having finished work in areas under state jurisdiction, the National Guard is now moving to work in areas under federal jurisdiction. This will create problems in getting co-operation from private subcontractors who might feel uneasy about taking on a job that the state has no jurisdiction over. Major potential for legal liabilities against any private subcontractors who join in this effort. On the other hand, the media attention this has been receiving might cause private contractors to now calculate that the feds cannot afford the PR problems which would arise from their getting in the way of this effort. God help them if something goes wrong.

It is okay to like her, she is a nice lady, but posting things on Facebook is no resume enhancer.

There really is no need to make things up to make it look like she is the only person that knows everything and somehow has authority over people. Keeping this stuff up for 2 years might get old.

Jindal gas said that he isn’t going to run for president so it is okay to let him have some credit.

Obviously, this has been underway foe several days, though we only hear about it now thanks to the fact that we do not have a functioning Press Corps worthy of the name in these United States.

That was nice of her to do so, but I doubt that it had anything to do with his actions. He already had the National Guard deployed in building protective barriers in areas under state jurisdiction when everyone was asking why he did not have them building the protective barriers in areas under federal control. The resources available to him are not infinite and he wisely took care of what he could do in the areas under state jurisdiction before he set out to do the fed's job for them.

I'd suggest you're being a bit naive. Of course, we'll never really know, but that kind of public push seems like what was necessary. Bobby J is a good man, but has not been that strong in his role as gov to date.

Kudos to him, whether he took advice or decided on his own prior to what she said.
