It sounds like a moveon operation to me.
To: Old Retired Army Guy
I wonder if he ever considered maybe people meant to vote for Greene?
To: OldDeckHand
Unlikely 13% of the US population know who Clyburn IS. And just as well.

if this is true, where was he when the decision was made to use these machines in the first place? We have Algore and FL 2000 to thank for that.

The winner may be a black man, but he isn’t The Democrat Party’s “black man”.
To: FrankR
Are we sure this is not another one of those “crises that cannot go to waste”? Is this a setup of for some kind of Democrat “fix” to the election process? I don’t put anything past this regime.

I’m sure it had nothing to do with the Dem voters in South Carolina being morons, right?

Psychologists call it "projection". Ascribing characteristics to others that are really your own. Hacking and cheating is what Democrats do to swing elections. This was nothing more than the uneducated, uninformed Democrat voting base repeating their habitual vote for the black guy over the old white guy. The voters get the politicians they deserve. If you're too damn lazy to check out the candidates before casting your vote, don't complain when the candidate isn't what you expected. Too bad it wasn't Alan Keyes. He would have been a great GOP "plant"...and a great candidate.

These must be the same “hackers” that rigged the Dybold voting machines in Ohio so Bush could win the election in 04.
It is not possible the people of OH thought Kerry was a pompous doofus.
No way...

Even *IF* he’s right, how can they possibly explain all the other illegitimate, incompetent, and outright lunatic democrats who have won elections? Damn near the entire party fits in this category.

I’m confused. I thought we were racist if we DIDN”T vote for the black guy????/
.......now WE are cheating if THEY win?????
To: SeekAndFind
Well, I don’t know how it happened, but I am amused. Damned amused!!

"James Clyburn Claims 'Hacking' Behind Alvin Greene's Surprise Win in S.C. Senate Race" I've been studying this and I'm convinced pixies did it. There may have been some use of magic powder too, but I'm not prepared to make a definitive statement on that... yet.

Seems to me the most likely answer is an “anybody but Clyburn” vote. Given Clyburn’s performance since the primary, this idea gains value.
Or maybe the voters thought they were voting for Al Green, and they were going to get free concerts!

He would be more believable to me if he said that the Body Snatchers had come to SC and voted.

Clyburn has descended into Looneyville.I wouldn't be so quick to assume Clyburn is off base.
Hugo Chavez has been rigging elections here since 2006:

Someone got paid to hack-in and he made a mistake and voted for the wrong guy, They say you get what you pay for and low bid is not always the best

In a fair and just world Clyburn would be a men’s lavatory attendant rather than a congressman.
