Not true.

The Oil Drum has many industry folks, many academics, many conservatives, many liberals, many concerned folks about our energy future.

Don’t impugn what you don’t know, friend.

Yes true.

Look at the Staff bios.

The people who run this site are all academics, most whom have a clear “environmentalist” bias. They are also mostly devotees to the theories of “Peak Oil”.

What Oil Drum is NOT is a website dominated by professionals who make their living in the energy production industry as the original poster claimed. What it clearly is is an advocacy site with an obvious anti-oil/pro “renewable energy” bias.
