Sorry man I said “FYI”, I wasn’t trying to be snarky just informative of the actual facts.

Excuse me now I have to go check my igloo’s roof pool’s filter set. It keeping getting clogged up with the bones of moose and bears that the skeeters eat and then leave in the trees.

;^)

Kewl! we’re almost next door neighbors!

I live up near Sunshine on the parks.

Pardon my previous tone, you know how it is when outsiders talk about the Greatland. It can be rather tiresome.

My bad.

Me neither, just having a little fun.

I can relate to that, having traveled across country in the FreepMobile with a 12 person hot tub on the third level!

: > )

Hay I resemble that remark! LOL

Thanks for having a great sense of humor, warm.

I’m a 35-year old-timer, 18 years in Valdez, and 11 years in Juneau before that. I’ve only been in Wasilla about 5 years, but I love it. Are you a member of CPG yet?

"But Facial hair on the women?"

LOL! A joke. But I've seen a few who could use a good shave. ;o) Women up here are tough. Not rough, but tough. (Well, some are rough, too, I guess. See, there I go again...) Frontier living is often difficult, and we have to be ready for what nature sends us, so we toughen up fast.

Looked at your “About” page. Pretty interesting, especially the part about the parrot. We also have an African Grey, female, about 12 years old. Until we obtained Holly, I had never imagined that birds could be so smart, have so much personality and actually be affectionate. Holly sings and talks a good part of the day, sometimes using language with correct meaning. But she does a feather plucking problem. Sometimes she has feathers and sometimes very few.

I’m a 61 year old who has been in the country for 31 years myself.

You likely knew my sister when she lived in Valdez till right after the Exxon Valdez event. She was married to a firefighter. She worked at the Pipeline for most of that time.

I’ve “stomped jugs” on the ice of Admiralty Bay, and mined on the forty mile. Mostly I used to commercial fish all species of fin and shell fish, from the Slime bank in the west, to Nome in the north, to the Chatham strait in the south. Back in the day.

Been in the north end of the Su valley for 21 years mostly building cabins and such myself. It’s getting kind of crowded around here nowadays. But still beats almost everywhere else on earth imo. I break out in a sweat when I have to go into that big town you live in now.

I’m not a joiner. But I do listen to Glen almost every day. Murkowski has to go, I don’t even need to say anything about the DNC’s own little senator Markey Bag itch do I? Well I’ll say one thing about him, ONE TERM. Parnell is also toast as far as I’m concerned. (I’ve NEVER in my life voted for a demonRAT.)

I’d have a conversation, but I guess that I’m a “thought criminal” or something because every post that I make is “reviewed” before they post it. Is that SOP here?

Because if it is, how do you folks manage to “conversate” when your posts are delayed by hours?

I haven’t read anything here about it being SOP and I haven’t any idea how to ask TPTB what the heck is going on?

It’s getting more than tiresome, and I’m about ready to “kick out” if it doesn’t change soon.

Oh well ...

Best to you and yours.

Geeze, THAT’S weird.

Both of these posts went right onto post!

That kinda freaked me out.

Guess my “thought criminal” status changed somehow?

Wow. You must have a 28k baud dialup modem. All you have to do after you post is get back to the thread and hit "refresh." Your post will appear at the bottom of the conversation.

Nope DSL here.

Up to those last posts to you I always got a message that my comment was going to “review” before it was posted?

A couple of times it took hours. I usually just waited till the next day.

I guess this post will be a test?

I’m pretty sure that computers actually hate me for some reason anyway.

LOL!
