The WEATHER they sent this kid out in speaks to motive. She was scheduled to leave this year. To beat Watson, they hurried the kids trip and took risks that were unnecessary. THAT speaks to what kind of person someone is. Actions show who a person is, not their words.
Anybody who would send their 16 year old kid up Everest SOLO in WINTER because it had to be now, before spring when they “aged out” of the youngest-ever $$record$$ while actively seeking TV deal$, is a certified MEDIA WHORE.

If it was about the sailing, she could have waited a few months and gone during the southern summer.
