PILESGROVE TWP. — The Greenwich Tea Party Patriots of South Jersey is staging a major rally, “Let Freedom Ring,” Saturday at the Salem County Fairgrounds here.
The organization says the rally is for advocates of “constitutionally-limited government, fiscal responsibility and free markets.”
The rally will be held from noon to 40 p.m. at the fairgrounds on U.S.. Route 40 here.
Event organizer Brenda Roames said the Greenwich Tea Party Patriots of South Jersey was established in January of this year due to a lack of tea party rallies in New Jersey. This will be the group’s first rally.
The Greenwich Tea Party Patriots of South Jersey cater to individuals from all areas, but Roames said the group is made mostly of residents from Salem, Cumberland and Gloucester counties.
