A huge contingent of Los Angeles Police Department officers were trying to maintain order Thursday night as some Lakers fans roamed downtown, jumping on cars, smashing windows and throwing rocks.
LAPD officer fired less-than-lethal weapons at a group of people who threw pieces of concrete at them.
Cars trying to make their way through the intersection of 9th and Hope streets were mauled by fans banging on their windows. Police approached on horseback and then riot police pressed into the crowd. The crowd retreated, knocking off side-view windows of cars and lighting fireworks as they went.
At 9th and Flower streets, a crowd bashed in the windows at the condo loft tower and ripped down the barriers that had been set up at the street. Then they swarmed a pickup truck at the intersection. Ten men hopped on top of it.

Could you just imagine?
I’ts factual though... just not PC. You should really try for factual statements instead of trying to conform to the current PC standards.
Good thing their team won-I would hate to think what would have happened otherwise.. My husband was wathcing the game and when I read this I asked him why are they doing that and he said he knew they would and I asked him if they won and hed yes and then he called them “hoodlums”
I think all those rioting should be required to watch world cup soccer reruns during all Laker games next year. With sing-a-longs with Engelbert Humperdinckof impersonators.
All of this violence would be happening in Boston, instead, if the Celtics had won.
Blacks celebrate...Whites riot.
Lesson here in why they shouldn’t ever be allowed another NFL football team. Sports franchises should be kept at a minimum for them.
With traces of Methodist...
Those pictures are so messed up. Do these people have any conscience whatsoever?
Is there a driver in that car? If you were driving, would you floor it?
Some of those rioters are pretty scary.

So, did the Lakers win or lose? You can’t tell from the violence.
How do you knock off a window?
The criminal rioters are, no doubt, aspiring rap stars.
LOL!
Win, lose... I don't think it would make any difference to these animals.
I don’t seem to recall anything like this when the Spurs have won NBA titles.
There weren’t any. It reminds me of a conversation on the Opie and Anthony show. Opie and Anthony would frequently talk about how they felt intimidated by the scary looking guard who opens the door for them every morning. A caller phoned in and complained that they were being racist. When they explained that the guard was white, the caller was a bit embarrassed.
