This, folks, is what Cinco de Mayo is all about. Originally, it commemorated a minor victory by Mexican forces over the French. Now — I believe — it celebrates the yearly advances the Mexicans are making toward occupying and annexing the U.S. Hell, why not? The nation isn’t fighting it to any significant degree.

Is our future left to hoping it’s Mexico who establishes dominion over us before the islamic world? I guess at least the Mexicans won’t force us to bow to Mecca.
