MIT has been at the lead of creeping leftism into engineering - an MIT grad (BS and MS) that worked for me was absolutely certain the invention of the internal combustion engine was one of the most evil and destructive inventions of the 20th century - it’s Economics department played a big roll in designing mASScare and is a major proponent of centralized government planning. The engineering schools are full of technology driven socialization, wacky environmentalism and green-mania.
