Refusing to protect a state against invasion in order to further a political agenda is treason and a violation of the presidential oath of office.

You know it, I know it, and millions of patriotic Americans know it - but does the Congress?

I think they do, but they've ceased to be the body which was outlined by our Founders in the Constitution. They're either frozen in fear, or they won't act because they're in on the treason in some way.

At some point, it won't just be states like Arizona that are realizing they're on their own. It'll be average citizens, too.

I usually don’t blow the horn for impeachment because there really needs to be an act that goes across the line and this is it folks...we have our impeachment moment.

Even knowing that this will wind up being a "he said, she said" kangaroo court, we ought to hammer on our Reps to file the articles of impeachment anyway, just to push the rats to the wall.

Well, this qualifies as a high crime, but we do not have a legislative body that will do anything about it. Every day Obama becomes more bold. The major question of the moment is if the November elections will be conducted in a free and fair manner or if Obama will run them more like Hugo Chavez. For the future of the US, those elections must reverse Dear Leader or all bets are off.

Maybe people don’t remember what happened 4 years ago but I do. That amnesty bill was the final nail in the coffin (Miers the first) against the GOP and fractured the coalition in ways it has yet to rebuild. The “stimulas” Bush and the GOP helped pass didn’t help matters but the coalition had long since broken by then.

So forgive me if I see no reason to rally to Kyl’s sudden rightward flank on this issue. I trust that snake about as much as I do Obama on this issue. I have no reason to believe if they ever get all 3 branches back that they’ll behave any differently. They didn’t before.

For a crash memory course I would like to remind people Kyl pretended to be on “our” side on this issue just as McCain is doing now to get re-elected then he joined with John Cornyn to sell us out immediately after his election.
