What used to be 40 acres and a mule is now a box in a housing development and 6 votes, all democratically directed of course.
Biggest problem I see in a long range forecast is that Hispanics generally do not embrace Islam, so it seems kind of funny that while Obama is a Muslim he wants more immigrants that are traditionally Catholic, just something to consider.
If anything I expect Obama do perform some sort of action to open the doors for more Islamics, well more doors anyway.
Where did you get that idea? Islam dominated Spain for so long that many cultural attributes of the Latin cultures are entirely coherent with Islam, particularly fatalism. There has also been a patient effort by Islamists to colonize South America, now claiming 3-4 million adherents.
They may well be traditionally Catholic, but that hasn’t stopped many from consistently voting for pro-death candidates in the name of continuing handouts or fighting the “racists” on the Right.

Crowd burns U.S. flags in Ecuador
While U.S. Sec. of State H. Clinton met with Ecuador’s president at that country’s Presidential Palace, a crowd gathered in front, burned two U.S. flags and shouted “Out with the killers of immigrants!,” “Gringos out from Latin America!,” and “Out with the killers of Palestinians!.”
