The point I’m making is that Obama virtually ignores the black community. He doesn’t promote independent black politicians (e.g., Paterson D-NY) and only tolerates those under his thumb.
Even then, he tends to pick weirdo radicals who have no future in mainstream politics (e.g., Van Jones).
All the gay groups have to do is mumble that he’s not paying enough attention and he jumps.

Not only PCness, but also as the government has taken on public and private health under it’s bailiwick, and many, many conservatives who’ve gone along with various initiatives on DUI like unconstitutional roadblocks and checkpoints, the insidious effect of the warondrugs ripping parts of our constitution apart, the assault on smoking, etc, etc, the concepts of property rights, individual liberty and freedom has taken a back seat to the “general welfare” and the “village’s” health.
