We have no problem with “legal” immigrants. It’s the illegal ones that are a problem. Why can’t everybody see that?...............
Because in practical terms, it’s nearly impossible to be a “legal” immigrant. To keep the current immigration laws intact, AND actually enforce them, would mean an immense decline in the volume of immigration. You may like that, but it’s too glib to say, oh it’s just the illegal ones that we don’t like. They’re practically all illegal.
We need far fewer legal immigrants as well. We are importing poverty.
