Led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), eight Senators addressed a letter to the President asking for answers to questions about a plan that would allow DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide an amnesty if they can’t secure enough votes for a bill in the Senate.

Without a congressional vote? They better not. They can't legally do that, can they? Of course this group doesn't care about legality or the Constitution, why would I be surprised. But this outrages me.

I have this sick feeling they're going to try and ram this through with some "tricks" just like the healthcare "reform". They better not. I truly think this is the line in the sand we have to respond to. . or else. . .

The greatest danger will come after the November election -- in a lame duck session.

Reid and Pelosi will almost certainly call one -- it being their "last chance".

If there is a GOP sweep in November, there will be a lot of Democrat Congressmen and Senators with "nothing to lose". Plus, a few Republicans with axes to grind -- Bennett (already a loser), McCain (either a winner or a loser, but no longer bound by competing in a primary) and, of course, his Robin -- Little Lindsay.

Be assured that Cap & Tax and Amnesty will both be on the agenda...
