There were officers who were insubordinate to Bush. Shinseki comes to mind. Any officer who cannot obey the orders of the Commander in Chief needs to resign his commission. This isn’t partisan — this is about chain of command.
We're losing more men than ever in Afghanistan these days while the Kenyan Kommie golfs.
One may think that a chain of command is to be ordered and followed. There has been a lot of good men killed because of LBJ directing the war 4,000 + miles away. There will come a time when the pentagon will have to tell Obama to kiss ass and move out of the way...Obama has no experience, and he is one that I will not follow or put my men in danger just because of his fruitcake whims. I am proud of McChrystals standing up and saying the truth, and I am saddened that he is apologizing to the chief pussy in the white house. Obama loves yes men, his aim is to destroy America, and the more that we stand up to him, the better, but you may not agree, but some times you have to screw the chain of command.
Do you come on here just to show everybody what a good Obama pet you are?
Unfortunately, you are correct, but I have never seen the disdain for any president by the troops as I have since zero was elected.
Absolutely - and the media helped Shinseki when he was against Bush!
Hypocrisy from the media.
