I think people who are on the right will be disappointed by a McChrystal book. My sense is he'll bash Bush and he'll bash Obamma, no one wins.
I've seen this complex with MANY flag officers. They don't believe anyone can lead as well as they can, and when they aren't successful, it must be someone else's fault. There are no heroes in this story, especially McChrystal. But, I suppose many will support him because of the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" axiom.
Well based on what I have heard here I would never support the guy. As an old solder he could just fade away, or he could take the advice of Nancy Pelosi and become another liberal artist. ;-)

If he were to decide to run, this shouldn't be too much of an issue ... remember, Reagan was a registered Democrat until he saw the light.
