Joran van der Sloot told a Dutch newspaper that he's received many proposals from women who want to marry him.
Joran van der Sloot is talking plenty — just not to the judge investigating his case.
The 22-year-old Dutchman is quoted in an interview published Tuesday as boasting that he has received several marriage offers from women while in his jail cell in Lima, Peru, where he is awaiting trial for allegedly killing 21-year-old Peruvian Stephany Flores.
"One of them even wants me to get her pregnant," De Telegraaf newspaper quoted Van der Sloot as saying.
Van der Sloot has been charged with the premeditated murder of Flores in his hotel room in Lima, Peru — 5 years to the day after the 2005 disappearance of U.S. teenager Natalee Holloway in Aruba, a resort island just north of Venezuela. He is the main suspect in Holloway's disappearance, but her body has never been found and he has never been charged.
He met both women in casinos and is the last person known to have seen them alive.
Talking to Peruvian police, Van der Sloot admitted killing Flores, but later said he only confessed because he was intimidated and was promised he would be extradited to the Netherlands.
He faces a sentence of 15 to 35 years, if convicted.
A self-avowed liar, Van der Sloot also has admitted and retracted several confessions of involvement in Holloway's disappearance.
Superior Court Judge Carlos Morales visited Van der Sloot on Monday at the maximum-security prison in eastern Lima where he is being held, but Van der Sloot refused to answer questions, on instruction from his lawyer.
The lawyer, Maximo Altez, contends Van der Sloot's confession in the Flores case isn't valid because the defense lawyer present when Van der Sloot made it was state-appointed.

I have read about women sending things to Scott Peterson. These women are very disturbed. Perhaps they are under the delusional assumption that they can actually change this “bad boy”. In their minds they are thinking, “But, but he’d NEVER hurt ME.” This man is a psychopath, and you can’t change that. He couldn’t tell the truth if it came up and bit him on the backside. He clearly feels no remorse for the loss of these two lives. His only concern is himself. Not only is he a psychopath, but he is a coward. The people that he has harmed are women who are smaller than him and unable to defend themselves. You wouldn’t see him picking a fight with a man his own size. He’s afraid of his fellow prisoners because he is afraid they will hurt/kill him. It’s ok for him to hurt/kill others, but it is not ok for the reverse to happen to him. There is something wrong with a woman that wants to be with a murdering pyschopath coward.

It is amazing how incarcerated guys can get babes, tho.

I’m not surprised. Some women desperately want to be famous, even if they have to marry a murderer who will never be let out of prison, to attain that fame. Come to think of it, that’s probably what’s so attractive about it. They’ll never have to deal with the s-o-b in everyday life, they’ll just bask in the attention the media will give them.
There’s a lot of truth to the saying that women secretly love and want to be with men who abuse them. To many women an abusive man is a symbol of power and domination..which in a primal way, they find very attractive.
This is one time I’d be for polygamy.

Murderers of women seem to be the most marriageable men around. The women line up for a chance to propose to them.Being grotesquely murdered is just so romantic! poetic, even.
They say that woman are more in touch with their emotions than men. They never explain why that would be a good thing, however.
