The whole point of nominating Jim Jeffords Jr. in the first place was because he was allegedly the lone "electable" Republican in Illinois. Well guess what? He ain't electable, he's polling dead even against the most corrupted Dem on the ballot. Those "unelectable" conservatives on the ballot are polling far better than him in Illinois.
Topinka, Sauerberg, now Kirk. The GOP establishment sure knows how to pick 'em. Resign from the ticket NOW, Congressman Kirk, if you have any integrity left.
Death to RINOs (politically speaking, of course)! I would rather see a CommieCrate win than this RINO!
You mean kind of like the way Obama overstated his role as a 'Constitutional Law Professor', when he was simply a lecturer? Oh, I guess that's something different, at least as far as the Old Grey Lady is concerned.
I don’t know which is the bigger phony. Barry Soetoro or this guy.
Tough call.
It's time to bring Alan Keyes back to Illinois as the substitute candidate.
Only in IL.
If Kirk drops out of the race, Rep. Roskam should run. If that happens, State Sen. John Millner should run for Roskam’s House seat.
What about Denny Hastert? Or...how about PhilCollins or Billyboy. They are in the know!
I hope that ex-Speaker Hastert will never run for office, again, because he became more liberal, within the past 10 years. He supported too much unconstitutional pork barrel spending.
You didn’t mention anything about PhilCollins or BillyBoy.
I’ll probably never run, statewide, since I couldn’t win. I plan to run for Glenview city council, school board, or library board, in 2011. If I win, I’ll probably run for the state legislature, in 2012 or ‘14. I hope that Bill will also run for a local office, next year.
That’s good to hear. You and Bill have political saavy.
That’s good to hear. You and Bill have political saavy.
Especially true for the Illinois GOP establishment.
BTW, can you show me ONE politician with any integrity?
My view is every single one of 'em are a bunch of dirty rotten corrupt no good mother f*cking bastards. But that's just me.
BTW, his cap and tax vote last year was enough in and of itself to disqualify him as far as I'm concerned.
