Amen. I want it abolished. I’m tired of paying for other people’s kids. I’ve owned a house since 1989 and paid property taxes to fund education. I went to Catholic school that my parents paid for AND homeschool my own kids. Between the years that my parents owned a house and I have owned a house, we’ve been paying for nearly 50 years. I’m tired of giving “my fair share for the common good.”
Here’s a thought, educate your own kids. I do it for 300.00 a year. I work and my DH and I split lessons. If you want them educated, do it. If you want them to work at McDonalds or pick blueberries, that’s fine with me. As my neighbor said to his daughter...
