Sex education starts early, especially if you go to elementary school in Provincetown, Mass.

That’s because the school committee has unanimously adopted a condom distribution policy beginning as early as first grade.

According to the Provincetown Banner, the program requires that students speak to a school nurse or trained counselor before receiving condoms.

The committee also directed school leaders not to honor demands from parents who object to their kids receiving protection.

Some members on the committee were wary because the program requires that students speak to school officials first.

But Beth Singer, the school’s superintendent, said she wanted to guarantee younger students get information on how to use condoms because there is no age limit.

NAMBLA is volunteering to help demonstrate proper condom use.

This answers the question as to why a first grader would need to understand condom usage. It's not for himself.

RE: “This is ridiculous I would be outraged if I had an elementary student attending this school we are talking about 7 year olds for goodness sake”

Unless you are ‘gay’ you would not likely live in or have a child in any school there. That must be some crazy school — every student has two mommies or two daddies. YECCHHH!!!

The first person to distribute a condom to my 1st grader will wear it over their head.

Any first-grader who needs a condom is either Jethro Bodine from “Beverly Hillbillies” or else is being statutorily raped by somebody much older.

This school should be sued - if not for condom distribution to enable statutory rape, then for refusing to honor the orders of their employers: the parents. No way should schools be giving out condoms to first-graders against the expressed wishes of the parents.

My kid would be coming out of that school system so fast it would make their heads swim. He's MY kid, not yours!

re: “My former in-laws visited my ex and me on the Cape many years ago. We took a day trip to P’town of which my father-in-law had fond memories of having visited as a boy.
When he saw what has happened to it since the homos took over, he cried.”

************

I hear that! A long-time friend of mine lives near Boston and she and her husband (both of them lifelong Dems) on occasion like to drive in nice weather to P’town. But... the wife, in particular, is so sickened by all the gays in that town that she can’t stand to stay long — they drive there, have lunch, then leave — it’s mostly about the drive in their car with the top down............ Pity.

They make great balloons and you can fill them with water and throw them, tie them together and they make a great shooter for spitballs, and slingshots. I am sure the kids can find a use for them other than what they were made for.

It’s called “corrupting a minor” by encouraging them to engage in extramarital and statutory criminal sex.

Condoms are for “penetration” (which would be beyond mere exploratory play). Someone would be “putting ideas” (and instruction) in the child’s head at that age (because you would HAVE to tell them what it is for and how to use it).

But then, the sex positive agenda sees sex as a birthright to be enjoyed by everyone at every age with no moral judgements over pairings of any kind.

Makes sense that a homosexual cult town would champion this.

Back in the Disco Daze, I worked for a company that made disco equipment, like neon dance floors, lighting, sound systems, etc.. We took a floor to a convention in NYC. Some mafia guys came up to my boss and said, “We want youse to sell us dis floor, and put it in our club in Provincetown.” They paid with a briefcase full of money. No receipts, nothin’. We went to install it, and it was a freakin’ gay disco! What a zoo! And that had to be nearly 40 years ago. Mafia/gay disco????

I wonder if this school needs to be bailed out because they can’t afford to hire teachers.

Maybe if they stuck to teaching school and not trying to adopt the kids without the parents’ permission they might not need a bail-out.

Sick.

Down is up. The Left has succeeded in taking over.

25 years ago, the school officials would have been investigated for running a kiddie sex ring.

I can’t imagine why anyone with children would live in Provincetown.

I didn’t know of anyone in elementary school who was having sex. I doubt many kids had any knowledge of it at all till they hit middle school. This liberal approach to sex and education is destroying this nation. Look at the cost of liberal sex policies in children born out of wedlock, divorce, disease, and abuse? Show me how liberal policies and attitudes on sex have helped anything?

The left want to blame religion but it isn’t religion that created the costly mess of people who behave like and worse than animals.

Yep, and that was supposedly what lead to "the Stonewall riots". The speakeasy bar that was not legally operating got busted by the cops.

It's a damn nice town, and except for a couple streets, you really don't see much of the gay thing. It's nothing like some people on this thread, who I am sure have never been there, are making it out to be.
