I was never a big Beatles fan and didn’t have a favorite - until they went to see that fruitcake in India and Ringo left after a week or so and called it, “all a load of rubbish.”

From then on it was Ringo forever!

At least George Harrison had the right political views. Just listen to “Taxman”.

Sadly we need disasters like this to show people. Some people don't believe in climate warming

Was he being interviewed on his private jet when he uttered this?

I have several Beatles albums. Paul was always my favorite. Not anymore. The fact that he likes Obama makes me sick. June 18th was Paul’s birthday. I wonder if Barry and Michelle threw him a party.

Eh, John was a bitter hypocrite. All of that calling for world "peace" when he couldn't even muster more than 2 cocaine fueled nights in the studio with Paul in the decade following the breakup of the Beatles.

There is no doubt that John was a hypocrite. His treatment of Julian is the best example I can think of. Lennon is without a doubt my favorite musical artist, but he was a lousy human being. I have learned to separate the artist from the art.

True... but he stayed out of our political system.

Me too, I have no respect for the guy, he really turned out to be an idiot.

He smoked lots of pot for decades and it shows. Just like that moron I saw on TV last night with long pigtails who runs a California medical marijuana shop. Talk about a world of illusion

And why is it that he thinks that anyone cares even a little bit about his opinions???

After those comments at the WH, I will never spend another cent on anything that he has or will produce. Not that I buy a lot of music anyway, but there will be no Beatles or Wings downloads ever again!

He needs to go somewhere that can treat his senility.

With McCartney it’s about LOVE. Actually love of himself, so that as the accolades stop flowing McCartney will turn to say whatever inanity that reaffirms his status in the “artist” community and will give them an opportunity to approve and shower him with love. He is a manicured poodle for sale. Ted Nugent will never get the Gershwin Award even though he is an American musician who can write in most any style. But Ted prefers raw truth to the smarmy fawning of his peers, a fawning that is meant to flatter and keep musicians in line with the liberal group think. No such luck with McCartney. All you need is silly little love songs for a silly little award and the requisite silly little saying coming out of his mouth. Liberals should be so proud.

He was always an idiot. At least John had soul and George had heart. Paul was the marquee moptop shmuck.

The estate of Michael Jackson owns the rights to the Beatles catalogue. The Beatles got outbid years ago by MJ for their own music. This is why MJ could keep borrowing multimillions against the catalogue to finance his lifestyle.

Sir Paul recently sold out two Pittsburgh mega-concerts at our new Consol arena. People want bread and circuses.

Gotta give Ringo credit. He keeps quiet, no scandals, always was a gentleman, full of good humor, an all-around nice guy.

BTW, the Beatles cartoon series (ran on Saturday morning TV 1964-1967) is now in the public domain. Google 'Beatles cartoon' on ebay and you can get a legal download from a poster for a decent price. Not a penny goes into Michael Jackson's pocket. The production company that owned the series failed to renew the copyright. You can hear all the great early music thru the era of "Eleanor Rigby" and "Strawberry Fields".
