'Napolitano before making the rather tenuous argument that the oil companies should decide where to drill because they are the ones losing the money."

After watching it, I thought that Napalitano made some insightful and thought provoking comments. He's absolutely right about the insurance comments, and the remark about the federal government "inspecting" or authorizing BP to drill a certain place or a certain way, with absolutely no subject-matter expertise at all.

Even Obama acknowledged that the fedgov had no earthly idea how to stop it and all the industry expertise was with BP. If that's true - as I assert it is - how is the fedgov supposed to effectively "oversee" it?

Let the Oil companies work to stop it but the Feds should be marshalling all means and forces to do the clean up - booms, skimmers, sand barriers, etc., from every soorce available.
