The human capacity to embrace insane practices and insist that the same insane practices are what make life worth living cannot be overestimated. Have you ever seen the documentary on foot binding? Nothing is more powerful than a meme which demands that people act in an insane manner and nothing enshrines insanity like Islam. They start out by insisting that BOTH sexes must have their genitals mutilated as children and they go down hill from there.
The most amazing thing is that these same twisted, demon possessed creatures who kill people for the slightest reason, especially any reason having to do with sexual relations or just the thought of sexual relations and who imagine a paradise where rape victims cannot enter but rapists CAN enter imagine that their twisted heroes spend eternity in paradise doing what? That’s right, nonstop sexual relations forever but in paradise the same activities that are considered abominable on Earth will be pure pleasure and approved by Allah.
Anyone who imagines that Islam is anything but a cult of insanity and death is living in a dream.

There's your answer. Islam was born from demons, so it stands to reason that its practices would be anti-God. More specifically, the family is a crucial unit in His plan for mankind. Such degradation of women perverts that plan and teaches each subsequent generation to do the same. It destroys the family. And then of course is another answer found within your question itself - they are afraid of women because they need to dominate. Deep down in places they don't like to visit, they know their faith is built on sand, so questioning it isn't permitted, lest the house sink. This permeates throughout all their dealings, not just with women. It's why they riot over cartoons. Islam's adherents are wildly insecure and overcompensate for it as a result. I'm no cultural anthropologist, but that's my ten cents.
