An appeals court has reversed a lower court ruling to free all Hutaree militia members pending trial. From The Michigan Messenger:
A three-judge panel for the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals has overturned a lower court ruling granting a release on bond for the five remaining members of the Hutaree 9 still in custody pending a trial on charges of seditious conspiracy.
But it was not a unanimous decision for two of the members:
The appeals court was partially divided, with all three judges agreeing that David and Joshua Stone and Michael Meeks should be held in jail pending trial. Two of the three judges ruled the same for [Thomas] Piatek and [Joshua]Clough but the third judge disagreed on those two particular defendants.
We've discussed the release of four Hutaree members in a previous Gun Rights Examiner column. We've also looked at evidence of prosecutorial misrepresentation to prevent that from happening, and looked earlier at why the lower court deemed all defendants eligible for bail.
A lot of developments have occurred since I submitted the draft for my August 2010 GUNS Magazine "Rights Watch" column on the subject--one of the drawbacks of trying to cover current events when the time between writing and publication is measured in months. When I wrote it, none of these releases had happened and key factors such as the government's lead investigator not remembering details on the stand had not yet occurred.

I’m in MI and I know tons of people like this. They run in the woods and shoot trees. They are survivalists and I’m sure they did talk about what they would do if the Government came to get them.
I can almost guarantee they wouldn’t start the war.
I notice they’ve backed off from their insistence on the use of the term “Christian” militia.
Demonizing Christians as dangerous terrorists must have been a step too far... for now. But this was a test case, make no mistake.

We have a fascist Obama unit from Homeland Security working within the FBI.That's what all the disagreement was about earlier when the FBI was accused of not cooperating with Homeland Security.( Homeland Security also now controls domestic FBI investigations into militant Islamic groups and racial minorities otherwise the duty of the FBI.

They almost kicked WACO 2 off by their little raid, the feds found later that their assembly points for the raid were under surveillance by the MM. Plus, they told almost 2 days to setup the command center and it was all over the Internet before the raid.

There's been no new news regarding anything ~ no suitcase nukes, no storehouse of anthrax, no nothing but a couple of them had some guns and bullets ~ and as much as those stores might have seemed to some (even here at FR) I've known many other people to have that much just scattered about the home here and there ~ always ready to go hunting or shooting.
I think they did find a guy in the Detroit DA's shop who was probably a deep AlQaida plant but other than him seeming to move on somewhere else there's been no more news on that ~ as if they'd tell anybody.
Now it's TSA's turn in the can. Whereas all those FBI guys were college grads and had been taught how to talk nicely to people ~ kinda ~ the TSA folks are strictly working class who can tote 70 lbs across the room and see without glasses.
The TSA is going to be making the FBI and US Marshall's Service LOOK SMOOTH and POLISHED.
I'm still waiting for some evidence on the Hutaree to show up. Really doesn't seem to be any, but that's not at all surprising ~ the Obamistas really have no idea what they are supposed to be doing ~ and some of the pukes they've brought INTO the White House and the Executive Office Building are certainly more dangerous to Obama and his family than any of these guys.
Need to check back in 5 months to see if this has improved.

BTW:
The Hutaree accused should be released, they are innocent men who the government tried to frame. It failed.The only reason they are keeping them in jail is so they won’t sue the government.
