The Left -- the media and the Democrats (never mind the anti-war groups) -- never seemed to understand the strategic purposes behind the Iraq operation.

Evidently, they can't read a map. Nor appreciate the military advantage of fighting in Iraq, rather than Afghanistan.

Or maybe they just don't want to understand...
