Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh famously said he hoped President Obama would fail in January, 2009. Almost a year later, when Limbaugh was rushed to the hospital with chest pains, Washington Post reporter David Weigel had a wish of his own. I hope he fails, Weigel cracked to fellow liberal reporters on the Journolist email list-serv.
Too soon? he wondered.
Weigel was hired this spring by the Post to cover the conservative movement. Almost from the beginning there have been complaints that his coverage betrays a personal animus toward conservatives. E-mails obtained by the Daily Caller suggest those complaints have merit.

I thought liberals weren't allowed to breed due to a severe genetic defect, 'foot in mouth' disease.

(surpise, the faux conservative gets busted and gets a job with Olberman, lol)
Team Weigel rejoice it didnt take Dave Weigel very long to land on his feet after he resigned last week from The Washington Post.
Tonight at the end of Countdown, Keith Olbermann introduced new MSNBC contributor Dave Weigel.
Olbermann teased an announcement regarding Weigel throughout the program, and when he finally introduced his guest around 8:55pmET, he said, We are very proud to announce is, as of like, I dont know, 20 minutes ago, an MSNBC contributor. Welcome Dave and you thought last week was fun, wait until you see what this week holds for you.
Weigels segment was about an interview he did with Rick Barber (the guy behind this ad). Olbermann closed the interview by reiterating, MSNBC contributor Dave Weigel, great thanks, as always, and good luck with this.
Isn’t that special.....just goes to show that guy was a fake and phony! Thanks for the info.
