Think about that statement. If the hospital is in business to "make money" it makes perfect sense. The homosexual lifestyle means more sickness, wah lah - more patients. Win win for the hospital.
Regardless of one’s views on homosexuality, I have worked in various hospitals over the last quarter century and there seems to be a higher percentage of homosexuals working in hospitals than in the general population. Back when being gay could keep a person from getting some jobs, hospitals were a sort of sanctuary where “diverse” people were fully accepted. You should see some of the people in the OR. Hospitals had LGBT before it was “cool”.
