Moran: 'The economy has recovered'
The Hill ^ | 06/26/10 | Eric Zimmermann

The economy has recovered from the recession, Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.) said last night.

It's a case that many Democrats would likely be scared to embrace, given the still-high unemployment rate.

"In the last six months, more jobs were created than Bush was able to generate in eight years," Moran said on MSNBC's Hardball. "People don't understand that. The economy has recovered."

Dim rep Jim Moron seems to be unaware of the fact that nearly half a million of those jobs were temp jobs as part of the census. Actually, a cousin of mine, a retired agricultural department worker, was hired by the government 2 different times for the same job. After the first set of confirmations were finished, he was let go and then was approached to do another set. Once that was done, he was let go again, and when they approached him for a third set, he told them that he had had enough. So my cousin was counted as two of those jobs. And they only lasted a few weeks.

Hey Virginians, aren’t you getting tired of being represented by a damn fool?

Moran doesn't represent Virginia. He represents Alexandria. Big difference.

All that I know is my state has over 11% unemployment, and that is not counting the number of people that have stopped looking for jobs and not filing for unemployment. If the economy has recovered, it missed us. I have yet to meet anyone that believes that we are at full employment. If the economy is doing so well, why is the stock market stuck at 10,000? Moran is an idiot.

“In the last six months, more jobs were created than Bush was able to generate in eight years”

WHAT!!!!

Not a SINGLE job has been created since the Zero took office.

The unemployment rate for most of Bush’s presidency was before 5%.

This guy is beyond stupid, he’s a freaking liar

Census or no census only idiots would believe that more jobs were created under the socialist regime than under President Bush. Do you really think that even with the census more jobs were created under the socialist regime? Do you know how to count?

Even on that basis it is a complete and utter lie. You don't see a 4.3 percent unemployment rate if jobs (private sector at that) aren't being created. Between 2001 and 2008 the Dems had to resort to complaining that the millions of new jobs were the "burger flipping" variety. These people rely on their ability to revise known history whenever it suits them, straight out of 1984.

Moran is an evil subhuman. Only an evil creature would dare to lie in such incredible way. Moran is one of the most vile creatures that was ever elected to a public office in the history of the Republic. I remember how this subhuman was verbally attacking two US soldiers few years ago when they are asking him questions in townhall meeting. It was all over the news.

These commie bastards steal our $, tell us the 8 million jobs will never be recovered, tell us the US will not lead the world financially anymore, and then tell us we’ve recovered?

I have no words for this. I just ask my Great Big God to move them out of the way and give us good government.
