Wondering if dunce caps came before or after the KKK (answer: long before), I discovered that the European version consists of what looks like donkey ears instead of the pointed cone we think of. Somehow it seems apropos in either case for the KKK and liberal/racist Democrats in general.
Nevertheless, may God bring comfort, peace and His true enlightenment to Mr. Byrd's loved ones.

Well what can you say some people can fit nicely in a twin sized sheet and others require a king sized, with a dust ruffle - and a few matching curtains. No, he has no business lying in state. I’m all for allowing people a chance to reform, but it’s pretty clear from his statements that he never disavowed the Klan.
