Boasting a population that is 97% Hispanic, more than half foreign born, and 40% illegal, the Los Angeles County, Calif., incorporated city of Maywood has achieved the Reconquista goal. It is now as lawless and chaotic as any place in Mexico. Maywood is a warning to every city and town in America.

The Maywood City Council announced this week that after years of radical policies, corruption and scandal, the city was broke and all city employees would be laid off and essential city services contracted out to neighboring cities or to L.A. County government.

How did this happen? Until recently, Maywood was the model for "brown power" politics.

When I was in High School, Maywood was a typical LA suburban community.
This can, and will, happen all across this country unless citizens rise up and force corrupt politicians to protect this country and the communities they represent!

Those area will have police protection and private security. Their residents have political power and you can bet they will be protected if the government has to call out the National Guard or the 82nd Airborne. No what will happen is that it will be the middle class who will have to suffer.

Only when the lives of the rich and powerful are affected will we start to see the necessary changes in our society.

You don't need to go to the third world to experience third world squalor. You can experience it in just about any city over 100,000 residents. In most cities over 500,000 you can experience several flavors of third world squalor.

My point is that until the lives of the rich and powerful are impacted in a major way, nothing will change.

The ONLY people that can say they were in AZ first are the Native Americans that were already on this side of the border. The descendants of the very few Mexican citizens that were in AZ 150 years and did not choose to go over the border back into Mexico at any point in the last 150 years can cliam they were here first. The ones that stayed in Mexico have NO claim.
Any illegals sneaking in now have ZERO claim.
The United States won it 150 years ago. Mexico had AZ for only about 25 years and there were only around 10,000 in the SW when we won the war.
The United States (Los Estados Unidos)was very generous when we won against Mexico. Mexico started the war. We won and couldve taken the entire country fair and square as the spoils of war.

But the US was almost as soft-hearted as we are now and LET Mexico keep half of the country, paid them several million dollars (multiply for inflation) and in general ttreated them pretty well after the war considering that Mexico launched the first attack.

We charge Mexico for the land that they have now. Sell all their valuable assets, as the Soviet Union did when they plundered Eastern Europe (didn’t know that did you extreme Red LA teacher and other fellow traveler commie Razas?),charge Mexico for ALL the social services that we have squandered on illegal aliens including hospital visits.

Shall we protest for this in the US or Mexico, or both?

When I was growing up in LA there was an area of Mexicans that was filty and dangerous - and that was quite a while ago. Only difference is they kept sort of quiet and now they’re proud of it.

The Middle Class is the perceived Enemy of the ruling class and of the welfare class. The MC is the class that the poor aspire to but feel they cannot attain while the businessmen of the MC are regarded as threatening to the aspirations to absolute rule of the nonproducing rich. The Ruling Class propagandizes the underclass to the effect that it is the Middle Class that is keeping them poor because Business is a feature of the Middle Class and one can see businessmen “getting rich” while making the underclass “unfairly” pay money for those things the Elite assure the welfareians are theirs by Human Right.
