Huckabee should have been force to sit in the front roll of the funeral for those four officers.

Huckster is certainly running in 2012.

I feel like vomiting when I hear politicians make ridiculous statements like this. The Huckster is unfit for high office.

I was extremely concerned about this when it first hit the news, but given the circumstances of the pardon and the timing of the events I can certainly see how this is utterly defensible by Huckabee and justifiable. I would vote for him to be POTUS any day of the week and probably will do so. Maybe over PALIN.

In my book, Huckabee is an accessory to the murders of 4 police officers, and an urepentant one at that.

If justice was served, Huckabee would be serving life in prison, without parole.

Making the horrible and deadly decision to release Clemmons proved Huckabee a dangerous fool. Saying he would do it again proves that he is pure evil to the core. It is no surprise he raised a dog killer.

He is as evil as any Democrat, including Obama.

The Huckster pardoned more convicts than all the bordering states (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri and Oklahoma) combined.

Hey Huck, why don’t you just stick to bass playing.... You really, really need the practice anyway. Really!

And by the way, I’m a pro bass player myself so I know what I’m talking about.

Indeed, and he is certainly losing in 2012.

Correct on all of your thoughts imo. To think there are fellow FReepers who champion this jerk....well, just hard to believe. Let them stand before the family’s of those 4 murdered policemen from Seattle and defend this idiot.

With you on this one, ExSoldier.

Also, unlike McCain, Sphincter, Graham and about 99% of all incumbent politicians, Huckabee is standing behind his decision.

He gets points in my book for that.

He pardoned a burglar who had no violent crimes against any persons. He ha spent the time. He had no record of violence, so he could not forsee this action that was taken. No history of a violent offender.

We are so used to pretend Christian politicians that, when one acts truely Christian, we sometimes see it as weakness. Does anyone really believe Huck would have shown clemency to this guy if he thought that this might happen?

Huckahillbilly is a wannabe televangelist and a fake Christian.

Please wake up!

A Cristian socialist is still a SOCIALIST! and Huck has shown he is more than willing to expand the state for his "Christian" principles...the guy is as oily as Clinton.

His candidacy split the conservative vote in '08 and led to McCain getting in by default. All the Dems I know are always saying how they think he's the Republican's "best hope"...yeah, for re-electing a democrat.

No Thanks. He's probably the only Republican I would stay home rather than vote for.

His judgment is seriously flawed.

Well, he released a man who had raped a young girl who was walking home one evening. This girl had a meeting with Huckabee and begged him not to release this evil man. Huckabee, in his infinte wisdom released him and he ended up raping and murdering people here in Missouri. But I’m sure that Huckabee stande by that decision too.
