Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) said after meeting with President Obama and other senators on Tuesday that he is ready to “scale back” the reach of energy legislation to get Republican support.

“We believe we have compromised significantly, but we are prepared to compromise further,” he told reporters outside the White House. “If Republicans can step forward, we can find a place of compromise.”

Kerry said that in the meeting with nearly two dozen senators of both parties, Obama was “very clear about putting a price on carbon” and curbing greenhouse gases. Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) said Obama made an “effective argument that polluters should pay.”

Obama made an “effective argument that polluters should pay.”

Nothing proceeds without the labels in place - denier, polluter.

Then comes the legal definitions of these terms in statutes.

Then comes the court's presumption that the terms apply if the government chooses to attack you.

Then your defense is declared "frivolous" because you're denying your precrime polluter status.

Then you are declared in contempt of court, jailed, fined, and have your assets seized.

And they never have to prove a thing, or even invoke their carbon pollution "law."

It's an administrative murder machine - they put liberal hysteria in one end, and a gulag comes out the other.

And the open secret is it does not matter in the least what the hysteria is about - absolutely anything will do to feed the collectivist "legal" mechanism.

It's too easy!!!

In Australia the conservatives stopped this bs cold. I hope in this country we actually have an opposition party that is ready to do the same and not compromise or “reach across the aisle” to burden us and future generations with more tax and control schemes. Globull warming is a hoax, why are they even still talking about this?

...yes, some of the same morons who voted for this village idiot are going to get screwed by him.

They do not care. Most of them are so lazy and have been fed jealousy for their whole lives they do not mind if everyone is as poor as they are.

They would rather see everyone poor than someone making it and they do not have the ability to overcome their laziness.

I don’t remember who it was (Sunstein? Emanuel?), but one of 0bama’s ‘czars’ advocated liquifying dead bodies. He specifically mentioned ‘green.’ I was horrified. This is on video, but I can’t find it right now.

Turns out this is a ‘green’ thing:

How can you compromise on a fantasy? A lie? A fraud?

I told a lib friend this was still in the works and he scoffed at me saying it would never happen. BS. That and based on the recommendation of the Biden committee, I bet a seizure of our 401k assets is in the finance bill.

I would bet that unionized companies will be exempt from carbon taxes, and union members will be exempt from carbon taxes on their homes.

Bank on it.

Are they going to put a limit on how much air travel BO can take? And will he pay for his date night trips out of his own pocket?
