Damn, she likes her toys BIG! First pistol looks like a .45 by how it kicks. Can’t make out make/model. Revolver might be a .38?
And yes, def. NOT guilty!

Not to pick, but why does the M16 or variation thereof seem to kick more in the video than the Thompson? I’ve fired both weapons and the Thompson is a beast that’s almost impossible to control. In this vid, she’s in complete control of the Thompson, but both handguns and the rifle rock her whole body. I strongly suspect that she’s firing blanks in the Thompson.

The Thompson has a compensator. I don't know what Tommy you shot but they are one of the easiest to control sub guns.
To: C19fan
that semi auto pistol she is rapid firing is pointed all over the place. Those last couple shots were off into the air somewhere.

Sorry, but the Thompson is also setting her back. Notice how she is holding it, this keeps her from feeling the recoil as much, since the butt is being held under her arm and not against her shoulder. I would say she learned her lesson about holding the Thompson on her shoulder!

The Thompson a beast, you say? I beg to differ! The gun’s heft reduces its recoil to a mere nudge. My petite wife handles it with ease.
VOTE GORMAN!
I know nothing of her policies or politics, but anyone with the gumption to put out such an ad in politically-correct 2010 deserves to win!

The semi kicked like a .45 the pistol shot like a 357. That’s my best guess.

However she will need to start a second fund raising account above and beyond her campaign fund raising to stay well supplied with ammo. ;-)

A perfect political ad. Wonderful and it matches Arizonans mood.
Dead on.
To: Melas
“why does the M16 or variation thereof seem to kick more in the video than the Thompson?”
Probably a 9mm Thompson.
I have fired one in 9mm at the Machine Gun shoot in Albany.
From Wikipedia: “Some experimental calibers were .45 ACP (11.4x23mm), .22LR, .32 ACP, .38 ACP, and 9mm P.”

She’s as conservative as they come. In fact, she was number 4 in the republican leadership in the state house and because she took a no tax pledge was forced out.

It looks like you’re feeling a bit better, which is good to see. What did you think of her as a state rep?
The video is pretty obviously a put-up job. She’s obviously not familiar with the AR-15 or the pistol. It’s cute, and I’ll giver her credit for doing it, but is she for real conservative?

I really don’t know much about her performance as Rep. Others who are in her district say she’s good, so I’ll go by that.
I think there is a large number of candidates for the seat she’s running. It’s “safe Republican,” so the winner of the Primary will be the next Representative.
No denying she’s easy on the eyes. I don’t think this ad is very good, but it sure as heck isn’t going to hurt her in this race.
Yes, I’m feeling better every day. Thanks for noticing! :^)
