As if you did not know, Larry King was born Lawrence Harvey Zeiger; November 19, 1933.

For comparison, Walter Cronkite retired in 1980 at the age of 66.

Dan Rather “retired” from CBS in 2006 ( Age 75 ). But then, he has since resumed his career with HDNet, a high-definition cable television station as a producer and hosts a weekly one-hour show called Dan Rather Reports (if you care to see it ).
