Three judges on the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals are beginning to review a case that alleges Barack Obama is not eligible to be president – in fact, he may not even be American.
Arguments earlier had been scheduled for June 29 in the dispute, but a court order recently cancelled the hearing and instead announced the case would be decided based on the merits of the legal briefs submitted by attorneys.
A document from court clerk Marcia Waldron said the case will be decided by Judge Dolores Sloviter, who was appointed by Jimmy Carter; Maryanne Trump Barry, who was appointed by Bill Clinton; and Thomas Hardiman, who was appointed by George W. Bush.
The filings were due on the day the hearing would have been held, but there's no published timetable for a decision to be released.
The case argues Obama probably is not even a U.S. citizen, much less a "natural born citizen" as required by the U.S. Constitution of the chief executive officer,

There was a time in the not to distant past when self-described conservatives valued intellectual, learned and serious discussion about serious issues. There are still plenty of people here who do. Unfortunately, there also seems to be a measurable amount who don't.

You expressed a disdain for bloggers here so why are you here? Your handle represents one who would have experince chipping paint and swabbing decks, not interpreting Supreme Court opinions, Constitutional or Employment law. Who's "we". All the serious conservatives that I know and respect are already onto the more serious business. This is why Mark Levin hangs up on any caller that brings this subject up. Mark Levin is a serious guy who worries about serious things. "This" isn't a serious thing.
Um your entire post was a personal attack, but no need to apologize for it. ODH is an obot and therefore deserving of it.
On my list of things that I wish Barack Obama would do (or not do), this is about at the bottom. Would I have liked for our fourth estate to looked at Obama with a more skeptical eye, and demand the same kinds of things from Obama as they did from Bush/Kerry or Bush/Gore? Sure. But, that’s over. I’m looking forward, not backward.
With respect to why he doesn’t, that’s simple. It drives his most ravenous critics mad, while painting them as out of the mainstream. For him, it’s a winner, anyway you cut it. I suspect this is another reason Mark Levin, a very bright man, doesn’t go near it. Obama loves it.
Hence his spectacular approval ratings.
If this is at the bottom of your list, why are you spending so much time in this thread and others on Obama’s eligibility?? Your behavior is not consistent with your claim.
What? I posted one comment on this thread, and a few people attacked me. Of course, they didn't attack the factual validity of what I said, just the fact that I pointed out WND was ENTIRELY inaccurate in their reporting. You will notice, everything else I posted is in response to someone else, like you.
By the way, William F Buckley certainly didn't care about the crazy claims of the John Birch Society, but that didn't mean he didn't take an extraordinary amount of time criticizing the Birchers. Intellectual conservatives who base their personal political opinions on fact, logic and reason, have an obligation to stand up for those very principles. When I see a headline like this ridiculous headline, I'm going to make a critical comment, every time.

How would releasing his long form BC put an end to any of this silliness when most of the cases filed (including this one) argue he's not eligible by virtue of his father's Kenyan citizenship?
Releasing a birth certificate that says he was born in Hawaii to Obama Sr. won't make any of this nonsense go away and it's intellectually dishonest to claim it would.
If he is a US citizen, why doesn’t he have a Hawaii Social security number?
Two different private detectives searched Lexus-Nexus. They had their accounts on that DB suspended, but before that they both concluded there is no Obama Hawaii SSN.
You talk like Obama produced a physical Certified copy of his COLB to a panel of independent press.
He did no such thing. A picture stuck on the web proves nothing.
Hawaii DOH will NOT confirm the Obama COLB. If you don’t believe me ring Onaka yourself, if he will even talk to you at all.
Obama has gamed the political/legal system perfectly, but he didn’t expect to loose control of the house in his first term.
As soon as any congressional investigation is made after the elections, the Obama Legend will crumble to dust as soon as its touched.
Follow the money, and the rest will be history.
