We were without power for a week but fortunately for us the weather was nice and we had a generator.
Speaking of which, might be a good time to get gas and exercise the generator...
Just ran mine this last week with a 3KW load. Keep 3 gallons in it with Stabil mixture and change the gasoline in it out completely once a year and the oil every other year. Never had a bit of trouble with it in 6 years.
