Remember Bush had a pretty unfavorable approval rating and McCain/Palin were running on empty. A GOP leader said if the GOP were dog food, it would be taken off the shelf.
Obama is moving into Bush territory so the GOP needs to come up a team with more promise this time.
I thought Palin was doing really good in the campaign. She was drawing huge crowds everywhere she went and she seemed to be propping McCain up.
