Byrd wore many hats during his lifetime, including that of Exalted Cyclops in the Ku Klux Klan. What are the job responsibilities of an Exalted Cyclops? It's why everybody wants to be a democrat. There are no academic requirements. You can make stuff up like television in 30’s, men walking on Mars, islands tip over, Arizona isn't on the border, etc. There are no moral requirements either. You can drown your mistress in the car, cheat on your wife in the oval office, and be a card carrying member of an organization that lynches people because of their skin color. It's the stupid, lazy, lowlife party, so it's naturally very popular. Life is hard when you're not in the club. You have to know what you're talking about and keep your zipper up, or people call you on it.
