The housing bubble got a foot hold under Clinton as well.

It started under him. However, after Bush and Obama.......Lord, forgive me for what I'm about to say, I miss Clinton. Of course all four (H.W. Bush included) were garbage. I miss Reagan; I miss principled leadership (and that doesn't pertain to Clinton). But after Obama, all of the aforementioned seem tolerable. I blame Bush for Obama. After Clinton, we had a chance to show America the alternative and Bush (and the Republican majority) offered little but media appeasement and socialism-lite. At least Clinton gave us welfare reform.

I don't think we can underestimate Clinton's appeal. The memory of “his economy” of the 90’s just may be enough to help her get into the White House if we aren't prepared to answer.

I didn’t forget Hillarycare. They gave up on Hillarycare after it was defeated. Obamacare was defeated via the election of Scott Brown ... and they used reconciliation to ram it through anyway.

Clinton backed off when he lost. Obama used the process to circumvent the American people when he lost.

Their ideology is the same — but the Clintons are more pragmatic and image-conscious.

Remember, HELLry was mentored directly by Alinsky - OBOZO merely taught Alinsky’s book. She is just as radical as he is but does a better job of hiding it.

Hillary also interned for Robert Truehaft, the Communist Party's lawyer in the US.

She is rotten. And conservatives forget how much they hated her husband in the 90's and how insecure he made us feel militarily because the MSM has been successful at airbrushing his image.

The word "spin" was created for Clinton who lied every time he opened his mouth as President. The Perjury President who caused lying and blow-jobs to be in the headlines for months setting a great example for our kids...beats me how can one have any respect at all for this sack of crud.

Clinton backed off when he lost.

He only backed off when the Repubs took the House for the first time in 40 YEARS...perhaps more of a spanking that Obama will get in Nov. He was cowed.

Don't you remember when he whined that the presidency was "still relevant"?

Clinton would have done the same as Obama if he could have.

Yes, the economy that he inherited from the massive Reagan tax cuts and fall of the Berlin Wall and which kept going because the Repubs took Congress and forced him into welfare reform.

Clinton moved to the center because he was cowed into submission, not because he wanted to do so.

Not to mention Clinton didn’t have to budget for the Cold war, which was over before he took office.

“Thats because clinton was part of the filibuster against Civil Rights.”

What? The Civil Rights Act of 1965 passed when Clinton was about 18 years old. Please elaborate.

One thing for sure, Bambi is very PO’ed about the applause thing.

It's OK.

Clinton's taking advantage of Reagan's victories and the Cold War budget for his personal gain deserve to be repeated.

I can remember how infuriated conservatives were when he took all the credit for the economy when they knew it was none of his doing. His choices were all about survival. Now even conservatives have forgotten the truth about how raunchy the Clintons were and still are.

Ha, Obama is making Dems pine for the days of Bubba. He’s becoming the Father Emetrius, wise old sage, of the Dems. And I’m sure he’s going to love it.

"Thats because clinton was part of the filibuster against Civil Rights. Thats why he was applauded. I take it the audience was full of people who left their sheets at home."

Do you mean the filibuster against the Civil Rights Act of 1964? What did Clinton have to do with that? He was eighteen years old at the time.

But by 1963, hunting, loss of prey, and the use of pesticides reduced their numbers until only 417 breeding pairs remained.

This, of course, is a crock. Their numbers (and those of other raptors) were reduced by shooting (not really hunting), not pesticides.

Too bad Bill hadn't been showing the eagle to Monica when it decided to take a bite.

“With Hillary and her lawyers the public would not be on to the liberals’ game as much. Her poll numbers would be much higher and her power would last much longer. She would be far more dangerous for the long term IMO and I have always felt so.”

yep! Agree 1000%

Obama will enjoy no such goodwill.

That's because there's no goodwill in anything Obama does. It's as simple as that.
