An Illinois citizen and registered voter has filed an Objector’s Petition to some of the candidates on her 2010 ballot. Her objection states that there is insufficient evidence that the candidates in question meet the constitutional eligibility requirements for the offices they seek. Her petition will be presented to the State Electoral Board on Tuesday, July 6.
The details of the hearing can be found here.

Ms. Meroni gave her first exclusive interview on her petition to The Post & Email and discussed the ramifications it could have on future elections in her state and throughout the country in regard to determining candidates’ eligibility for office.
MRS. RONDEAU: Thank you so much for allowing The Post & Email your first interview regarding the Objector’s Petition. Has it officially been filed yet?
MS. MERONI: I do think that this is an extremely important topic to discuss and put out there, and timeliness is everything, so I appreciate your availability and dedication to get this information out to the public. It was filed on June 28, 2010, the final date for the contest period. I got it in just under the wire before the period ended and was the last party to file an objection. This objection is not filed in a court initially, but rather, at the State Board of Elections

With one eye firmly fixed on Dear Leader, they'll knock her down.
I don't know, but didn't Obama get elected to the state senate by having all his opponents threw off the ballot?
Bump
When it comes to a government position, we shouldn’t have to have anyone ‘give’ us the right at all.
We are all equal, are we not? Any citizen should be able to contest any public candidates eligibility simply as a matter of principle, and past practice.
Name one other contest, with eligibility rules, where the candidates in the contest are not allowed to be bothered with proving they have a ‘right’ to compete.
By having someone pass sealed divorce documents to the MSM.
A violation of law.
We do have that right. Obama has gotten by with this because of a slobbering media and activist judges.
Citizens have a right to contest signed petitions that candidates have to have to enter the contest.
Why is it they say we can question one aspect of a candidate’s eligibility, but not another?
Are you serious? We can’t even challenge the eligibility or even the ability of ANYONE to vote with mail ballots and “Motor Voter” as the law of the land!!!
Check under your car, honey.
There’s too many thugs on the hill for this to go forward.
Excuse me while I practice my goose step.
We have the right to honest elections. If there is a challenge to a candidates eligibiklity, every voter should have standing to bring a case.
“We have the right to honest elections. If there is a challenge to a candidates eligibiklity, every voter should have standing to bring a case.”
I agree. If the voters don’t have standing to determine eligibility of their representatives, then we have a case of taxation without proper representation and we should all file W4’s with 99 exemptions. No more taxes to an legitimate govt.
legitimate. I mean illegitimate.
Sealed divorce records? Are those anything like sealed BIRTH CERTIFICATE records?
bump
Well...that’s what I think we should do right NOW....claim 99 exemptions...and DEEM OUR TAXES paid...until a legitimate BUDGET is created...in other words until they do THEIR JOBS!
God only recognizes a legitimate government, when a government abuses it’s power(s), it loses it’s authority and therefore is a illegitimate government even where God does not even recognize it.”
Which Govt. didn’t abuse it’s power?
